Condolences

Condolence From: Jeanie Roper
Condolence: I will always remember that time I came up and stayed with you guys a few days while Dave was away on business. It is hard to get to know your blood relatives when, as a child and to adulthood, that opportunity was denied you. I always felt your love then and now and will always be grateful for the coats you bought us after house fire. Uncle Les was not chatty, but I knew he cared when he would get on the phone and visit with me and catch up. I believe our time on this earth is not the end of things. Dear Aunt Helen, take comfort in that there is a big Dotson party going on in a place where tears are wiped away and where things on this earth are made clear. A place each of us will join at the appointed time. I loved my Uncle Les. I love my Aunt Helen and I appreciate a family that was willing to include me, even as an adult.

Condolence: Dear Helen & Family,

I am so very saddened to learn of Les' passing. I know he will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him. I have great memories of when we lived close. We will always remember him and will think of you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Condolence From: Mary Cosepalmer
Condolence: I am so sorry to learn of Les's passing. He and Miss Helen were important positive influences in my teen years. I will always be grateful to them both for their kindness and mentoring by the way they lived their lives. I was so touched by the wording in his obituary that said: "Les enjoyed working (it was his hobby); never had a job he didn't like; and was happiest with a full ditch of water. He was a man more comfortable thinking than talking. He was a kind and giving man."
Whomever wrote that captured exactly how I remember him!
May all of you who are his family be comforted and have peace as you say your earthly goodbyes.
He will rest in peace because his mission here on Earth is completed and he accomplished it exceedingly well.
Blessings,
Thursday January 24, 2013
