I will always remember that time I came up and stayed with you guys a few days while Dave was away on business. It is hard to get to know your blood relatives when, as a child and to adulthood, that opportunity was denied you. I always felt your love then and now and will always be grateful for the coats you bought us after house fire. Uncle Les was not chatty, but I knew he cared when he would get on the phone and visit with me and catch up. I believe our time on this earth is not the end of things. Dear Aunt Helen, take comfort in that there is a big Dotson party going on in a place where tears are wiped away and where things on this earth are made clear. A place each of us will join at the appointed time. I loved my Uncle Les. I love my Aunt Helen and I appreciate a family that was willing to include me, even as an adult.
