Donna Lee Austin went to be with the Lord her God on August 23, 2013. Donna was born on July 25, 1934 to Lawrence and Winifred Gilson in Los Angeles, California. Her family moved to Morrisania Mesa, above Grand Valley, Colorado, when she was eight years old. She attended school at the Morrisania Mesa Community House when she was a child. When she was older, she raised raspberries, strawberries and apricots and sold to customers both far and wide. She also worked in housekeeping for Battlement Mesa Incorporated, for a short period of time.

She was married to Ronald Ray Reese for 28 years. From that marriage, she had four children; Ronnie Reese (Sylvia), Connie Reese (Chuck), Larry Reese (LaVina), and Debbie Guthrie. She was also married to Arnold Austin for a short period of time.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister Pat. She is survived by her children Ronnie, Connie, Larry and Debbie, as well as 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters Bert Satterfield and Ruby ( Jerry ) Hoss and her brothers Eddie Reese ( Linda) and Robert Reese, as well as many nephews and nieces.
